CSB of Middle Georgia Behavioral Health Crisis Center
Dublin, GA
Located at 326 Johnson Drive in Dublin, Georgia, the new CSB of Middle Georgia Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) provides a modern, purpose-built environment for behavioral health treatment and crisis stabilization. The one-story, 31,245-square-foot facility replaces the organization’s previous crisis stabilization unit on the same campus and is designed to enhance the delivery of behavioral health services throughout the Middle Georgia region.
The center features 40 total patient beds, including 24 crisis stabilization beds and 16 temporary observation beds, offering both voluntary and involuntary patients access to safe, secure, and compassionate care. The layout supports efficient staff observation, patient dignity, and therapeutic engagement through the thoughtful integration of natural light, calming materials, and coordinated safety features.
Funded by the Georgia General Assembly and completed under the direction of the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), the project represents a continued investment in behavioral health infrastructure for Georgia communities.
Hussey Gay Bell provided architecture, interior design, civil engineering, structural engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, permitting, construction phase services, and project close-out for this vital facility.
