Memorial Health Heart & Vascular ICU

As the Architect of Record, Hussey Gay Bell designed the build-out of approximately 25,000 SF of shell space on the 5th floor of the existing Heart and Vascular Building located on the campus of HCA’s Memorial Health. The build-out included 32 critical-care beds, comprised of 6 ICU beds and 26 step-down beds. The program also included all other associated support spaces such as nurses’ stations, linen supply, equipment storage, staff lounge, nurse and physician offices, nourishment stations, physician workroom and a new elevator. The $5.5M project was completed in 2014; with FF&E the total project was $9M.
