Center for the Arts
College of Coastal Georgia
Brunswick, GA

This project involves the planning, design, and construction of a new 32,328-square-foot Center for the Arts on the campus of the College of Coastal Georgia (CCG) in Brunswick. At the heart of the facility is a 1,000-seat state-of-the-art performance auditorium, supported by a suite of dedicated backstage and operational spaces designed to meet the technical and functional requirements of a modern performing arts venue.

Developed through a strategic partnership between the College of Coastal Georgia, Glynn County Board of Education, and the University System of Georgia, the Center is a direct result of a successful ESPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) campaign, which is funding the project.

The Center for the Arts will serve as a dynamic cultural hub for both the campus and the broader community. It is designed to host a wide range of events, including music and dance performances, academic lectures, community meetings, theatrical productions, and special events. The building will provide dedicated access and programming opportunities for Glynn County Schools and CCG students while also serving as a regional venue to support local arts initiatives and civic engagement.

Once completed, the Center will significantly enhance arts education and cultural enrichment opportunities for the Golden Isles region.
