I originally joined Hussey Gay Bell because of their career growth opportunities.  To work with Hussey Gay Bell in the survey department has been a wonderful experience.


Since a very young age, there have been two things I have been and continue to be passionate about – reading and writing or more articulately, the power of language.


Like many young architects, I moved around early in my career to get ahead and broaden my experience. Then, in 1986, I found my home at Hussey Gay Bell.


I am pleased to say that I have been with the firm 37 years having been hired by one of the founders, Roy Hussey, in 1981. Looking back on those 37 formative years, I see a growth in my technical and personal skills…


My passion for the engineering industry is something that started at an early age. I was always interested in the construction process and how bare parcels of land shaped the communities that we lived in.


“What do you want to be when you grow up?” My children always seem to have the best answers. They want to be potion makers and acrobats and superheroes or something equally fantastic.
