The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) recently completed the construction of its new 650-bed suite style residential hall that occupies the area between Victory Drive/44th Street and Montgomery Street/Barnard Street, totaling approximately 2.75 acres. The project consists of multiple, multi-story residence hall buildings that include 4-bed and 2-bed suites along with studio spaces totaling approximately 250,000 SF. The building also provides support amenities, such as lounges, laundry rooms, study rooms, art studios, computer labs, and outdoor amenities. The residence hall also includes a 96,000 SF garage with 260 parking spaces.
