Local Convenience Delivered through Redevelopment
Developed by WSB Retail Partners, LLC’s predecessor, Sunbelt Ventures, LLC, the new Walmart Neighborhood Market and commercial building in the Fort Mill Square replaced the former Food Lion shopping center. Neighborhood Markets are located at more than 500 sites nationwide and average 38,000 SF with 95 employees. Although focusing on groceries, customers can order products on walmart.com and have it delivered at the market. The commercial building is located between USA Tire and South State Bank. The five-tenant, 7,500 SF building opposite Walmart Neighborhood Market opened soon after the main retailer. Hussey Gay Bell provided civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting and construction administration. The project was completed in 2016.
