A New Industrial Park Development Primed For Growth

Hussey Gay Bell previously provided the concept plan and utility master plan for this 2,500+ acre industrially-zoned site, just outside of Rincon in Effingham County. Hussey Gay Bell is currently providing due-diligence and surveying for OmniTRAX. In 2016, OmniTRAX and the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority signed a development agreement for a 2,700-acre industrial park. The industrial park will provide immediate interstate access and a site large enough to serve manufacturing and distribution operations, this development offers tremendous opportunities for the Savannah Market. It is the only near-point industrial mega site in the Eastern U.S., which will have main line access to both Eastern Class I railroads, CSX and Norfolk Southern. OmniTRAX has drafted a tentative master plan for the park that will allow for several phases of development including a large mega site. Benefits of the companies locating at the new site include proximity to the Port of Savannah, the flexibility of dual rail service, an educated and productive work force and the flexibility to purchase or lease a parcel.  The site achieved GRAD certification in early 2018.
