1,000 Acre Palmetto Hall Plantation Master Planning & Design
Hussey Gay Bell planned and designed this unique 1,000-acre project, which is one of the finest overland flow wetlands projects to receive advance waste treatment effluent in South Carolina. The project has been acclaimed by state and federal review agencies as a model for the use of reclaimed water, while keeping the area environmentally balanced and resulting in a highly successful residential development. The firm provided early estimates, which stayed in budget for the project duration. This development has two golf courses completely irrigated by lagoons and reclaimed water.
Palmetto Hall Plantation is a residential community with 552 homes and the development is owned by Greenwood Development Corporation.
