A New 17,000 SF Fire Station, 24/7, Self-Contained Facility

Project consists of a new 2-story, 3-bay fire station at 135 Johnson Ferry Road NE in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The new fire station replaces Fire Station No. 2 located on the property, which was built in 1969 and no longer met space needs for crew, apparatus and future growth.  The new 19,000 SF, 24/7, self-contained facility includes an integral stair training tower, rappelling and tunnel rescue training, as well as sustainable features. Infrastructure improvements include parking, utilities, sewer and stormwater management. The project is currently under construction and being delivered via design-bid-build.
