A Phased Approach to Planning Growth
This project consisted of the design and installation of approximately 5,400 LF of 12-inch diameter C-900 PVC force main. The project included pump station upgrades at Key Slot which comprised of the replacement of existing submersible pumps, including pipe connection modifications; replacement of existing check and plug valves and a new permanent diesel bypass skid pump, piping, valves, electrical and appurtenances. The project also involved pump station upgrades at Godley Station Boulevard, more specifically the replacement of existing submersible pumps, including pipe connection modifications; replacement of existing check and plug valves; as well as a new permanent diesel bypass skid pump, piping, valves, electrical and appurtenances. A new lift station at Towne Lake was also included, consisting of a new 12-foot diameter wet well and surround slab; duplex submersible pumps, including wet well piping and valves, mag meter, pressure gauges, by-pass connection, all electrical and testing/start-up; site development at lift station with clearing, grading, concrete drive; emergency backup power generator with fuel tank and concrete slab; precast Concrete Modular Building for variable frequency drive (VFDs) and electrical equipment; and new permanent diesel by-pass skid pump, piping, valves, and appurtenances.
The scope of work included hydraulic modeling; analysis of pressure piping and open channel hydraulics; hydraulic modeling of wastewater and recycled water systems; preparation of feasibility studies; layout, calculations and analysis of facilities; design and preparation of plans and specifications for facilities.
