Completed in 2020, the project consists of a new healthcare clinic located in the former Thompsons Sporting Goods building at the Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah. The existing building consisted of a 13,5600 GSF pre-engineered metal building with brick veneer exterior, which was rehabilitated and MEP systems were rebuilt to properly serve the new healthcare functions and meet building codes. The new clinic includes 15 exam rooms, optometry lab, dental lab, ultrasound lab imaging, pharmacy, dietician office, behavioral health office, blood lab, physicians’ offices, admin offices and other support spaces. Hussey Gay Bell provided architecture, interior design and MEP engineering. Permitting, bidding assistance and construction phase services were provided as well.
