J.C. Lewis Ford Dealership, Statesboro, GA

A Ford Dealership Features New Ford Prototype Aesthetics

The project consisted of the design and construction of an approximately 21,000 SF new Ford dealership on an 8.8-acre site located at 6922 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Statesboro, GA. The building design was based on the 2016 Ford 750 Prototype, with a few minor modifications: the 9,900 SF Quick Lane Building is attached to the main building service drive, the car wash bay is an exterior bay attached to the service building, the building has 4 additional service bays, and a few minor interior plan changes. The primary structural system at the showroom and brand wall consists of conventional structural steel, while the parts and service quick lane areas consist of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB). The project also included three (3) new driveway connections, right-turn/deceleration lanes, and signal improvements on two state routes.

This facility was constructed by Savannah-based Choate Construction and completed in March 2019.
