165,000 SF Distribution Center Brings Jobs to Midway, GA

This project consisted of a 165,000 SF warehouse/distribution center located in Midway, Georgia.  The structure is load bearing tilt with an EPDM roof supported by joists and joists girders. Clear height is 34 feet.  Approximately 8,000 SF of office space is included inside the tilt box.  A mezzanine is included above the office area to allow for future expansion of the office area.  The façade of the office area is EIFS and aluminum storefront.  Fifteen (15) dock doors with mechanical dock levelers were included. Tilt panel knockouts for eight (8) additional dock doors were provided with slab knockouts for levelers.

The Hugo Boss Distribution Center, designed by Hussey Gay Bell and built by Choate Construction, packages and ships products to the company’s United States facilities.
