A 50,000 SF Public Safety Complex for a Community

Designed by Hussey Gay Bell, this facility was constructed for the Forsyth County Emergency Services Department. The 50,000 SF Public Safety Complex is built on a 7-acre site and houses two separate buildings, a Public Safety Building and Fire Station #12. The Public Safety Building is comprised of the fire department administrative headquarters, 911 call center, emergency operations center, sheriff’s administrative headquarters, multi-purpose training room, multiple classrooms, showers and restrooms. Fire Station #12 has four apparatus bays, an administrative office area, bunk rooms that sleep up to sixteen firemen, kitchen, day room, exercise room, showers and locker room facilities.
