Play Here, No Matter the Sport

Hussey Gay Bell, in association with Wood+Partners, Inc., completed the master planning for 8 Oaks Regional Park consisting of a nine-baseball field tournament complex, ten tennis courts, four soccer/multi-purpose fields, skate park, playground, pool, camping facilities and recreational trails on a 360-acre site. Phase I has been completed and opened for play consisting of eight baseball fields, which hosted the 2012 Dixie Youth World Series Baseball Tournament. Hussey Gay Bell’s engineers provided designs for all site work for drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution and athletic field grading and specifications for development of the sports field grassing and clay field.
