Over 844 million people in the world do not have access to clean water – that is the equivalent of 1 in 8 people. Providing clean drinking water to the City of Charleston and beyond is not only my passion, but my career.
I started working for Hussey Gay Bell in 2012, and since then, I have been involved in significant horizontal directional drilling projects, potable water transmission mains, and water and sewer main improvement and rehabilitation projects. My experience grows with every new challenge presented to us in the Southeast.
People often say that it is rare to find a great boss. Lucky for me, the ‘bosses’ at Hussey Gay Bell are leaders. They teach, guide, coach and even mentor, eliminating micromanagement, and offering instruction and advice quickly and efficiently. This has made coming into work each day for the past 5 years a joy and a blessing.
My aim for the future is to help grow Hussey Gay Bell’s water and wastewater presence in the greater Charleston area and continue pursuing my Professional Engineering license. Hussey Gay Bell provides a strong foundation to build essential skills and further my career in the industry and I could not be luckier to be a part of this team!
