Hussey Gay Bell Expands Its Marketing & BD Department
Savannah, GA & Charleston, SC – Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the hires of Senior Marketing Coordinator, Ms. DeShawn Bell and Mr. Gregory H. Tedder, Business Development Manager for South Carolina.
Ms. Bell joins the firm with 20 years of industry experience, specifically in leadership and management, social media and content management, as well as writing and blogging. As a member of the marketing team, she will work closely with marketing leadership and technical staff to identify and develop strategies for proposals and presentations. Ms. Bell is a member of the Leadership Savannah 2021 Class and currently serves as the Board President for Urban Hope and the 2021-2022 Leadership Team Co-Chair for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year Campaign. She earned a Bachelor of Public Administration from Grambling State University and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Communication Management from Purdue University.
Mr. Tedder will be based in the firm’s Charleston office and be responsible for business development and client cultivation throughout South Carolina with an emphasis in coastal South Carolina, the Lowcountry and Midlands. A civil engineering graduate of The Citadel, Mr. Tedder spent the first 26 years of his career at Santee Cooper. Since 2006, he has served in various engineering business development capacities in the Charleston area. Mr. Tedder currently serves on the SCEDA Conference Planning Committee and is a charter member of Charleston Leaders.
