Hussey Gay Bell Expands Its Structural Department
Charleston, SC – Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the hire of Mrs. Kara Smith Bruder, PE. She will be working from both the firm’s Charleston and Savannah offices. She has five (5) years of experience providing structural design services to industrial, commercial, municipal and educational clients with project involvement including new construction, renovation, existing building analysis, progressive collapse analysis and design, and field inspection. As a Structural Project Engineer, Mrs. Bruder is responsible for the structural design of architectural, civil, municipal and industrial projects utilizing AutoCAD, RAM and Revit. She obtained a Master of Structural Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville. Mrs. Bruder is a Registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina and Kentucky.
