Hussey Gay Bell Expands Team In 2 Locations

Various Locations, South Carolina Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the hire of three new employees at two of its domestic locations – Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina.

As Managing Director for the Columbia office, Mr. Kevin Strickland, PE, will be responsible for overall management of operations, executive strategy development and execution, contractual negotiations, resource allocation and client management.  Mr. Strickland has nearly 30 years of experience including the design, planning, permitting and project management of water/wastewater treatment plants, wastewater collection systems, water distribution systems, transportation systems and site development for clients throughout the Carolinas.  Mr. Strickland is a licensed professional engineer actively registered in South Carolina.  He holds a Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering degree from Clemson University.

As Senior Site/Civil Engineer for the Columbia office of Hussey Gay Bell, Mr. Keith Utheim, PE, will be responsible for serving as a lead project manager for the firm’s public and private site/civil design projects in the firm’s commercial, industrial and municipal market sectors.  Mr. Utheim has more than 10 years of experience and holds a Bachelor of Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering degree from the University of South Carolina.  He is a licensed professional engineer with active registrations in South Carolina and North Carolina.

Mr. Justin Robinette has joined the Charleston operations as Project Civil Engineer.  With more than 6 years of industry experience, Mr. Robinette’s responsibilities with the firm include designing private development residential, commercial, and industrial projects.  Mr. Robinette is a graduate of The Citadel and holds two degrees – a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Project Management in Civil Engineering and Leadership.
