Hussey Gay Bell Expands Charleston Operations
Charleston, SC – Hussey Gay Bell announces the hire of Mr. Edwin S. Melendez as Senior Design Technician and Mr. Tanner J. Shaw, EIT as Civil Design Engineer.
Mr. Melendez has joined the Charleston operations with twenty (20) years of experience in civil, architectural and general engineering design. As Senior Design Technician, he will be responsible for the design and preparation of full construction documents, preparation of design reports, permitting and project management for private and government projects. He obtained an Associate of Science, CAD degree from Keiser College and completed coursework in civil engineering.
As a Civil Design Engineer, Mr. Shaw’s duties include site development design for commercial, educational, industrial and residential projects. His responsibilities also consist of site grading, storm drainage design, water and sanitary sewer design, as well as permitting. Mr. Shaw obtained a Bachelor of Science, Environmental Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his Engineer-in-Training certification in 2018.
