Hussey Gay Bell Continues Growth With Hire of Three

Columbia, SC – Hussey Gay Bell announces the hire of Ms. Rebecca Connelly, CIT, as Utility Coordinator and Ms. Meghan Perhacs at Civil Engineering Designer.

Ms. Connelly has 21 years of experience.  As Utility Coordinator, her responsibilities include overall utility systems coordination for the firm’s transportation-related projects for DOTs, counties and their municipalities.   Ms. Connelly’s expertise extends to include project management, team coordination, civil design, cost estimating, plan production, project scheduling and BIM coordination. Ms. Connelly is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science, Biology degree.  She holds various OSHA, CEPCSI, CIT and NIH certifications and is a Past President of NAWIC.

Ms. Meghan Perhacs has joined the Columbia team of Hussey Gay Bell as Civil Engineering Designer. Her responsibilities will include development of preliminary design reports, engineering calculations, technical reports, permitting, construction drawings and project specifications for the firm’s public and private design projects in the firm’s water and sewer market sectors. Ms. Perhacs is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.

Charleston, SC – Hussey Gay Bell announces the hire of Mr. Kyle Wiegand as Project Representative.

Mr. Wiegand has 5 years of experience.  As Project Representative, Mr. Wiegand is responsible for construction observation of Water and Sewer Piping, Pump Stations, Grading, Paving and Storm Drainage projects for the firm.  Mr. Wiegand holds a Bachelor of Science, Civil & Environmental Engineering degree from The Citadel.  He is currently a Captain in the 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade of the SC Army National Guard where he has provided relief response for Hurricanes Joaquin and Matthew.  He holds various OSHA, PMP and Stormwater, Erosion and Sediment Control certifications.
