Gus H. Bell, III, PE, Celebrates 50 Years With Hussey Gay Bell

gus bellSavannah, GA – This August marks an important milestone in the firm history of Hussey Gay Bell – the celebration of Gus H. Bell, III, PE’s 50th year with the firm.

A native of Dillon, South Carolina, Mr. Gus H. Bell, III, PE, serves as Chairman of the Board, Emeritus, of Hussey Gay Bell. Mr. Bell earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at The Citadel in 1959 and attended graduate school at the University of Kentucky. Mr. Bell joined the firm in 1966 and from 1986-2012 served as the firm’s Chairman until son, G. Holmes Bell, IV, PE, assumed the Chairman role in 2013.

Gus H. Bell, III, PE, is long credited with a history of philanthropy and commitment to the community.
