Dammen-Morrell Accepted to Leadership Savannah

Savannah, Georgia –
Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the acceptance of Stephanie Dammen-Morrell, into Leadership Savannah’s Class of 2016 program.  Ms. Dammen-Morrell has more than 9 years of experience serving in marketing/business development leadership and management positions in the A/E/C industry.  In her current capacity, she is responsible for overall marketing strategy development and execution, business development, public relations and pursuit management for Hussey Gay Bell’s family of companies with locations throughout the Southeast.

A cum laude graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Ms. Dammen-Morrell is the recipient of two prominent SMPS awards – Colorado Business Developer of the Year (2013) and Colorado Marketer of the Year (2010).

An avid supporter of personal and professional growth, Ms. Dammen-Morrell has served in a variety of industry association capacities including:  SMPS National MCA Juror, SMPS Colorado Executive Board, SMPS Colorado Secretary, SMPS Colorado Director-at-Large, AIA National Convention Committee, SAME JETS Conference Committee and ASHRAE Annual Conference Sustainability Project Committee.  Her current activities include: Leadership Savannah, SAME Savannah Post Young Member Chair & Board Member, SMPS Palmetto, SMPS Atlanta, SMPS SERC Communications Committee and ACEC-GA Engineering Georgia Magazine Editorial Board.  In addition, Ms. Dammen-Morrell has and continues to be an active participant in various Economic Development Council/Authority and Chamber activities; she is a regular attendee of LAUNCHSavannah, Savannah Economic Development Authority and Chamber PR Council.

Leadership Savannah was begun in 1961 for the purpose of informing future leaders in the Savannah area of issues confronting the community on a variety of subjects. Government, economic development, education, taxes, urban problems, coastal environment, etc., are examined in an atmosphere of concerned communication among the young leaders. This unique program provides the opportunity for its participants to develop an awareness of community successes and problems as well as the knowledge to help meet the challenge of the future.
