Chatham Health Department Achieves LEED Gold
Savannah, Georgia – The Dr. Martha B. Fay Public Health Center/Chatham County Health Department located on the corner of Eisenhower Drive and Sallie Mood Drive, has achieved a LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Hussey Gay Bell served as the Associate Architect for this $8.5 million, 40,000 square foot building, which opened in May 2013. Health department officials cite it’s the only facility of its type in the southeastern United States and only one of a handful throughout the country to achieve LEED Gold.
